Many years ago heard an illustration that has stuck with me. Beginning in the 12th century, stained glass windows were designed and created with a couple of purposes. First they wanted them to filter in light into a worship space, because they believed that sunlight was the closest reflection possible of God’s glory on Earth. Next, the purpose was to share a Biblical story with artist imagery that was easily understood, even by the many illiterate in society at the time.
In my mind, to the modern Church, a sanctuary video screen, classroom television, or website serves the same purpose of stained glass; to share the glory of God through the telling of stories in a way that reaches the people of God. It is my goal to help churches that have limited resources to be able produce high quality, God glorifying imagery to fit within their modern day stained glass.
In my years of experience, I’ve seen a growing need for professionally edited, personalized videos that reflect the style and feel of the organization. I realize that sometimes ministry leaders can find a video online that illustrates their point. However, more often than not, that high quality, custom-made video that specifically serves their purpose is not out there. My goal is to work along side ministry leaders to help deliver purposeful visuals for spiritual concepts. In my career, I’ve learned what gives a video impact. For each personalized video, I will meet with you and your team to discuss upcoming teachings and help creatively brainstorm possible video scenarios. After a brainstorming session, I will take the ideas garnered from the meeting and come up with more developed concepts for the illustration video. After presenting you with concept I will move forward to create a video that best illustrates your point or tells your story.
